Description

Resolution approving revisions of the City's current Policy 301 - Pyramiding of Pay Prohibited. 
Background/Discussion

Policy 301: Pyramiding of Pay Prohibited is being updated to ensure we are meeting minimum staffing requirements in the Police and Fire Departments and paying employees appropriately. The Human Resources Department prioritizes policies based on business needs.
Recommendation

Approving the resolution will allow this policy to be up to date with regulations, laws, technology and best practices. Policy review and updates ensure the City's policies are consistent and effective.
