Driftwood Inn:
07-04-19—At 10:07 pm, an intoxicated male was seen walking in the roadway, adjacent to the Driftwood Inn. Officers were not able to locate the man.
Cube Ultra Lounge:
02-10-19—At 1:28 am, Officers were dispatched to the Cube for a female that had been assaulted inside the bar. The female victim stated that another female patron had punched her in the face three times. The suspect left the bar prior to the arrival of the police.
02-17-19—At 12:22 am, Officers were dispatched to the Cube for a disturbance that had started inside the bar. The manager of the Cube stated that a group from a party bus entered the bar and someone in the group broke a glass and then two females became involved in a verbal disturbance and their boyfriends joined in. The manager kicked the group out of the bar at that time. The group was outside the bar when the police arrived. The Officers had the group get back on the party bus and leave the area. A liquor Establishment Report was completed as a matter of record, however, no liquor laws were violated in this incident.
03-22-19—At 12:12 am, Officers were notified by plain clothes Officers working in the area of a disturbance that had started inside the Cube and spilled out into the street. When the Officers arrived, several people pointed to a black male and identified him as the person causing problems. As Officers were speaking with the man, several people were exiting the Cube, being loud and causing disturbances. As Officers made their way into the bar, they immediately noticed bouncers physically holding two females, keeping them from fighting one another. They could also smell the strong odor of Marijuana, however, none was seen. Once order had been restored, several of the bouncers thanked the Officers and told them that they had been breaking up disturbances all evening. At 12:26 am, the shift supervisors made the decision to shut the bar down for safety reasons. A Liquor Establishment Report was completed as a matter of record, however, no liquor laws were violated. No arrests were made.
04-14-19—At 1:30 am, Officers were dispatched to the 100 block Broadway for 30 to 50 people fighting in the street. According to the caller, the majority of the people involved, came from inside the Cube. Everyone dispersed and the disturbance was over when the Officers arrived on scene.
05-03-19—At 1:00 am, an Officer working off duty at IWCC was approached by a female, who stated she had been assaulted by another female, while at the Cube, approximately one hour earlier. No arrests made at the time.
05-26-19—At 12:21 am, Officers were dispatched to the Cube for a disturbance. Officers arrived on scene and did not locate a disturbance.
06-10-19—At 12:16 am, Officers were dispatched for a disturbance at the Black Squirrel Bar. Officers located the man causing the disturbance and found he had came from the Cube and was trying to fight people in the Black Squirrel. The man was arrested for assault and disorderly conduct. The man was barred from both bars.
07-13-19—At 12:12 am, Officers were sent to the Cube for a disturbance. Officers did not locate a disturbance and went back in service.

07-27-19—At 11:18 pm, Officers were dispatched for a disturbance in the street, in front of the Cube. Everyone dispersed prior to the arrival of the Police.
08-03-19—At 2:08 am, Officers were dispatched for a disturbance outside the Cube, involving 5-6 people. The call was handled by the Officers, with no arrests made.
09-01-19—At 12:47 am, Officers were dispatched for a disturbance outside the Cube. As the first Officer arrived, a man involved in the disturbance took off running. The officer gave chase, catching the man a couple blocks away. The man was arrested for Eluding, Disorderly Conduct, Interference and an outstanding warrant.
09-05-19—At 11:53 pm, Officers were dispatched to the Cube for an assault report. Officers made contact with a man who stated he was assaulted inside the Cube. Officers spoke with several witnesses, who all stated that no assault had occurred. The man didn’t have injuries consistent with an assault either.
09-12-19—At 12:32 am, Officers were dispatched to the Cube for the music being too loud. Management agreed to turn the music down.
09-20-19—At 11:41 pm, Officers were dispatched to the Cube for a verbal disturbance occurring in front of the bar. Call was handled by Officers, with no arrests being made.
12-21-19—At 11:47 pm, 911 received a call from someone stating that 4 people the caller knew from school were inside the Cube and were underage. The caller gave a description of the four. Officers checked and did not locate them. |
